Job Description Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage cost accounting functions, including product costing, raw material valuation, and production overhead allocation. Monitor inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and coordinate with the production/warehouse team on stock movement records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses. Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections. Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow monitoring. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, company income tax) and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies (FIRS, State IRS). Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis. Analyze production costs and recommend cost-control measures to improve profitability. Maintain and improve internal financial controls and accounting processes. Assist management with financial forecasting and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (beverage industry experience is an added advantage).

• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required or in view.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing methods.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.

• Sound understanding of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales, and procurement teams.
