About this role
About the Role As the Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Team (Director of Finance and Accounting Specialist) to maintain organizational internal controls, accounting policies and procedures, statutory financial requirements and best practices, and to advance the agency's mission, vision and values. You will be a fully contributing member of the Finance Team and will help provide data and analysis, along with recommendations, to ensure the ability to accurately report on the financial status of the agency and provide insights into future operational and financial decisions. You will also serve as an accessible, in-person resource for staff across the organization, providing support, guidance, and problem solving related to finance processes, reimbursements, purchasing, and other finance-related questions.
