We are seeking a dynamic and analytical finance professional to oversee and drive the financial operations, governance, and business partnering functions for Malaysia and Thailand. This role serves as a critical bridge between Finance and local business operations, leveraging strong financial insight to support commercial growth, strengthen internal controls, and resolve complex financial issues.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting
-
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

Develop and maintain key financial metrics and subledger details to track business performance and communicate results effectively.

Business Excellence
-
Oversee Thailand office administration, capital expenditure (CapEx), and formal communications with government agencies and statutory bodies.

Ensure timely completion of all finance-related deliverables, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, company secretarial matters, and bank administration.

Review, approve, and provide strategic guidance on finance-related matters for the Thailand Finance team.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local statutory requirements.

Drive internal controls, compliance initiatives, process improvements, simplification, and automation.

Lead and support external audit processes and liaise regularly with auditors.

Coordinate tax compliance activities with external tax advisors.

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in accordance with local laws and regulatory requirements.

Business Insights & Partnering

Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights against budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Operations teams, providing financial support and guidance on corporate policies.

Requirements

Education & Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within multinational corporations (MNCs) and external audit environments.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.

Experience with Sage 300 and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is highly advantageous.
