Company Description We are recruiting an experienced Accountant for a UAE-based Defence & Aerospace / Industrial organisation.
Job Description The Accountant will support day-to-day bookkeeping, banking transactions, reconciliations and financial administration.
Responsibilities

Perform general bookkeeping.

Record financial transactions.

Complete bank reconciliations.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

Process and track bank transfers.

Support SWIFT transactions where required.

Coordinate with correspondent banks where necessary.

Maintain accounting records within Odoo.

Assist with month-end closing.

Prepare supporting financial schedules.

Support internal and external audit requirements.

Maintain accurate and complete financial documentation.

Profile
Qualifications
- Proven accounting experience.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Strong bank-reconciliation experience.
- Experience with payment and bank-transfer processing.
- SWIFT/correspondent banking exposure advantageous.
- Odoo Finance or equivalent accounting-system experience.
- High level of accounting accuracy.
- Good English communication skills.
