Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join a prominent organization within the dynamic retail and pharmacy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a significant advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Proven experience in the retail, FMCG, or pharmacy industry.

• Strong understanding of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
