Accountant

About the Role Bellwether Associates LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting while supporting a diverse client portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Execute day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable while ensuring timely reconciliation.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and other statutory compliances within prescribed timelines.
• Assist in financial analysis, MIS reporting, and preparation of management reports.
• Liaise with banks for account opening, closing, and transaction-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing financial records and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Must-Haves: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally (all versions).
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a CA Firm, Accounting Firm, or Professional Services Firm.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments efficiently.
• Familiarity with audit documentation and compliance processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month.
• Location: Sector 56, Golf Course Road, Gurugram, Haryana.
