Accountant

Job description

A leading company in the solar energy sector in Saudi Arabia is in need of an accountant with at least 5 years of experience to oversee financial management and accounting operations. Work locations available: Al-Ahsa and Al-Jouf.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording daily accounting entries, reviewing them, and preparing bank reconciliations and monthly and annual closings.
• Preparing periodic financial statements and reports according to the standards established in the Kingdom.
• Accounting for projects: monitoring the costs of solar energy projects, expenditures, and comparing actual costs against budgets.
• Preparing VAT and Zakat declarations and ensuring compliance with the electronic filing requirements of the Zakat and Tax Authority.
• Managing accounts of suppliers and employees, monitoring collections and payments.
• Working on ERP systems and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.

• Practical experience of no less than 5 years in accounting.

• Experience in VAT and Zakat in the Kingdom.

• Experience in project accounting or contracting.

• Proficiency in working with ERP systems and Excel.

• Type of Work: Full-time at the office.

• Monthly Salary: Between 6,000 to 9,000 Saudi Riyals based on experience and qualifications.
