About the Role
DHL is seeking an Account Sales Representative to consult with business owners, own a territory, and lead strategic negotiations that impact DHL's bottom line. The role emphasizes building relationships, expanding business, and leveraging global networks to drive growth.
What You'll Do
- Uncover opportunities for new business within assigned territory by cultivating leads and applying your networks
- Design customized presentations to showcase DHL services to decision makers and close new business
- Build revenue streams with current customers and evaluate opportunities to increase the relationship through face-to-face visits, problem solving, and administrative follow-up
- Leverage knowledge of the DHL Network as a Certified International Specialist Master to help businesses improve their relationships with customers
- Ensure high post-sale satisfaction and positive long-term relationships
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to improve sales and revenue growth within territory
What We're Looking For
- Entry level professional contributor on a project or specialty work team; typically requires BA/BS degree or related work experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in related field; selling services preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel; CRM experience preferred
- Track record of solid achievements, rankings, or awards
- Transportation industry, service solution sales, B2B sales, or international sales experience highly preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with DHL Express or international logistics is a plus
