About the Role The International Accounting Specialist will join Luxottica Group's Global Business Service (GBS) in Agordo (BL) as part of the EMEA Shared Service Center, supporting Italian companies and European subsidiaries. The role focuses on Accounts Payable and related accounting activities to support financial close and compliance. What You'll Do
- Manage month-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, inventory, payroll)
- Be the main contact for communication with subsidiaries
- Liaise with internal & external stakeholders
- Manage balance sheet account reconciliations
- Post and pay vendors invoices; post customer payments and credit memos
- Prepare customer invoices and statements
- Assist in year-end audit work with external auditors
- Assist in applying company policies and compliance procedures
- Manage bank reconciliation and posting What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Administration or Business Management with excellent results
- Excellent English; additional EMEA languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic) a plus
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Auditing within complex organizations
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and Excel proficiency
- Belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration Nice to Have
