Account Officer
Job Description We are looking for a professional account officer to coordinate and oversee our clients’ organization operations. The accountant will ensure all accounting standards and policies are adhered to and must display professionalism when rendering accounting and financial activities for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivables
- Creating and processing invoices to clients
- Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
- Tracking organisation expenses
- Processing refunds
- Handling queries related to accounts
- POS and bank reconciliation
- Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
- Submitting a report of all correspondence of routine and daily, weekly, and monthly activities to the management
- Assist in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected revenue
- Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
- Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
- Assist the organisation in developing financial strategies to ensure business sustainability and growth

Education & Experience

Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another relevant course

Years of Experience Minimum of 2 years’ work experience as an Accountant, account officer or similar role
