Job Summary

• The successful candidate will oversee financial controls, cash reconciliation, and inventory management across both locations.

Key Duties

• Manage daily cash reconciliation at both locations, ensuring sales match cash collected.
• Ensure all transactions are captured accurately and promptly in the accounting software.
• Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Investigate and report stock variances, missing items, and unexplained cash shortfalls.
• Supervise the Account Clerk and ensure proper shift handovers.
• Manage procurement requests, raise purchase orders, and track deliveries.
• Prepare daily sales and cash reports for the CEO and weekly profit-and-loss (P&L) summaries for each location.
• Enforce segregation of duties between sales personnel and the accounting team.
• Coordinate monthly external audits and compliance activities with Taiwo Adewale & Co.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail accounting, inventory management, or financial controls.

• Experience in pharmaceutical retail, FMCG, or healthcare is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or POS software.

• Fluency in English and Yoruba.

• High integrity, strong attention to detail, and a process-driven approach.

• Ability to identify and report discrepancies or suspected fraud.

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• No unexplained cash variances exceeding ₦5,000 per week.

• Stock variance below 1% per monthly audit cycle.

• Timely submission of daily sales and cash reports.

• Timely preparation of weekly P&L summaries.

• 100% compliance with shift-handover procedures.

Salary

• N180,000 – N250,000 gross monthly, HMO, pension, 13th-month salary, and transport allowance.
• Performance Bonus: ₦40,000 per qualifying month, subject to the employer's zero-variance criteria.
