About the Role Account Executive, People Solutions - Employee Benefits at Lockton. You will maintain and enhance relationships with existing Clients by delivering proactive, creative, and ongoing contact; provide strategic planning and consulting including RFPs, coordination of vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of client reports with recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance Lockton’s relationships with existing Clients by executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Proactively understand Client requirements and provide strategic planning and consulting, including RFP production, coordination of vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparing client reports with recommendations.
- Consult with Clients on investment options, benefit services, fees, strategies and goals; review large claims, abnormal utilization results, and monthly claims experience.
- Review profitability on fee-at-risk proposals; assist in establishing and attaining revenue goals for existing and new business.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures; build and maintain dependable working relationships with carriers, broker servicing networks, and other providers; oversee issue-resolution between Client and Vendor.
- Coordinate market selection for new and renewal business; initiate and duplicate new business report activities; generate cross-selling opportunities; negotiate program terms and costs.
- May help coordinate day-to-day administrative activities among those servicing the Client’s account including coordination of support services such as claims and loss control; provide information, concepts, techniques, and programs to department Associates to improve knowledge; mentor and train junior staff; research industry trends and government regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; typically 7+ years of client services experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills; knowledge of brokerage industry; understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements; attend meetings and training sessions; comply with company policies; protect confidentiality of client and company information.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines; ability to travel by automobile and aircraft; ability to work outside normal business hours.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
