Job title: Account Executive
About the Role DEPT's Global Studios team seeks an Account Executive to build strong client relationships and oversee the delivery of integrated campaigns. You will work with Designers, Copywriters and Developers to ensure emotive, conversion-focused campaigns are delivered on time and on budget, while effectively managing briefs and workload.
What You'll Do
- Manage, draft and review client briefs
- Ensure client deadlines are met across multiple campaigns and liaise with the Account Director on team capacity
- Liaise with clients, clarify questions, manage expectations and proactively communicate status, updates or agency recommendations
- Distill client feedback to designers and copywriters
- Prioritise workloads for the team and escalate when needed
- Ensure client requirements are met while protecting DEPT brand values
- Maintain a full understanding of the client’s business, strategies, objectives, brand, audiences and challenges; advise on the best communications solution to become a trusted adviser
- Build excellent working relationships with key clients through regular meetings, planning sessions, briefing meetings, and evaluation reviews
- Maintain high standards and add value wherever possible
- Ensure success criteria are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Maintain knowledge of all DEPT products and services and actively promote them
- Escalate to senior management any issues or events that might impact accounts positively or negatively
- Work with the team to determine and test creatives across client-owned channels
What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering a broad range of multi-channel marketing communications including digital and direct, with email and banner experience
- Extremely organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ambitious with strategic thinking and the ability to contribute new ideas
- Ability to work within short timeframes and meet deadlines, managing schedules and priorities
- Highly motivated to learn, grow and improve
- Personable, approachable, and a motivating team player
- Moderate understanding of production and interactive processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage and develop client and supplier relationships
- Basic understanding of financials to effectively manage budgets
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: CAD 55,000 – 60,000 per year
