About this role

About the Role As an Account Executive for Canada (Vancouver), you will drive enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management sales, leading full-cycle deals from prospecting to close. You will map Cyera’s technology to customer pain points in collaboration with Solutions Engineering and build executive relationships with key stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Cyera's Data Security Solutions and the value to customers
  • Create clear goals and accurate forecasting by developing a detailed territory plan
  • Lead the sales cycle from pipeline generation to close
  • Create and deliver custom meetings, PoVs, and business value presentations onsite with customers
  • Position and advise CISOs, CDOs, CPOs, and CIOs with industry Point-of-View insights; build and grow executive relationships
  • Negotiate and close business with new and existing customers
  • Grow Cyera’s presence with alliances and channel partners
  • Attend marketing events, conferences and industry networking events
  • Embody Cyera’s ethos and market presence
  • Build effective working relationships with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executives to align strategy What We're Looking For
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of overachievement in selling large deals at hyper-growth startups
  • Minimum 8 years selling enterprise SaaS solutions in cloud/security/data to Fortune 500 customers
  • Proficiency in value-based solution selling with focus on delivering tangible business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop creative solutions that accelerate the sales process
  • Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), security in the cloud, and data risk
  • Preference for candidates with cloud security, data, or AI sales background
  • Basic understanding of data security and compliance frameworks and their business value impact
  • Proficiency with formal sales processes and familiarity with qualification frameworks and sales forecasting/management tools
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adaptability to change
  • This is a Canada-based role; willingness to travel ~50% depending on the sales cycle Compensation & Benefits
  • The compensation package represents total cash compensation and may include incentives for sales roles, equity, or benefits; final salary determined by experience, skills, and role requirements
  • Compensation is location- and seniority-dependent; merit increases may apply based on performance and tenure
