About the Role Account Development Executive will drive revenue, transaction, and sales growth across an assigned California territory by managing and expanding existing agent relationships, with in-person visits 4-5 days per week and occasional overnight travel as needed. This role is part of Western Union's sales organization and network growth strategy. What You'll Do
- Conduct in-person visits to existing agents in California and travel 4-5 days per week (occasional overnight travel).
- Manage and grow existing retail agent relationships to expand product usage, improve performance, and drive incremental revenue and transactions.
- Identify high-potential opportunities within the existing network and onboard new offerings where applicable.
- Perform field-based sales to meet and exceed transaction and revenue growth objectives; drive growth across agent performance, product categories, and market segments.
- Lead special projects (sales blitzes, events, operational initiatives) at high-opportunity locations to drive volume.
- Build relationships with grassroots and community organizations to strengthen local market presence and agent performance.
- Monitor competitive activity, report insights, and inform strategy; provide weekly business updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Collections, IT Support, Credit, etc.) to resolve issues impacting agents. -Analyze productivity reports, manage expenses, and develop business cases for growth opportunities to expand market share.
- Regularly travel within the defined territory and reside within the territory, preferably near the largest market. What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of sales experience; direct Money Transfer industry experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- English fluency required; bilingual English/Spanish highly desired.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and maintaining strong relationships (Consumer to Business and Consumer to Consumer financial services experience highly desired).
- Consultative sales experience; ability to identify opportunities for incremental revenue and market share expansion.
- Excellent communication skills; strong stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, independent with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational/time management skills in a goal-driven environment.
- High integrity and professional business conduct.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for travel; must reside in assigned territory.

- Based in California or willing to relocate within the assigned territory; relocation costs not provided. Nice to Have
