About the Role The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS Renal is a remote & field-based role that covers Seattle, WA, Oregon & Idaho. The associate must reside within the territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from the territory. The ARM serves as the local market access expert on payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing and coding, claims processing, reimbursement, and integration of manufacturer support programs into a range of account workflows. The ARM will proactively analyze access and reimbursement issues and opportunities, and communicate changes in the healthcare landscape. The ARM will partner closely with other Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (NPC) field associates (Customer Engagement and Market Access), representing NPC with the highest integrity in accordance with NPC Values and Behaviors. The role also requires cross-functional coordination within NPC (e.g., Patient Support Center, Customer Engagement, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, Specialty Pharmacy Account Management, and other applicable third-party affiliates). What You'll Do
- Serve as the key contact and lead for access and reimbursement support-related matters within the territory.
- Be the local market access expert on payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing and coding, claims processing, reimbursement, and integration of manufacturer support programs into a range of account workflows.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify access and reimbursement issues and opportunities, and proactively communicate changes in the healthcare landscape.
- Partner closely with NPC field associates, including Customer Engagement (Sales) and Market Access, representing NPC with integrity in line with NPC Values and Behaviors.
- Coordinate and communicate cross-functionally within NPC (e.g., Patient Support Center, Customer Engagement, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, Specialty Pharmacy Account Management, and other applicable third-party affiliates).
- Ensure territory residency or proximity within a reasonable commuting distance (60 miles) as part of territory coverage. What We're Looking For
- Strong ability to serve as a local market access expert on payer policy coverage, reimbursement, billing and coding, and related workflows.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with Sales, Market Access, Patient Support, Marketing, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, and Specialty Pharmacy teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities to assess access and reimbursement issues and opportunities, with proactive communication of changes in the healthcare landscape.
- Willingness to reside within the defined territory (Seattle, WA area) or within 60 miles of the territory and to operate in a remote/field-based role.
