Eligibility
You should meet a minimum of one of these criteria:
- Your registration with the Ontario College of Teachers is in good standing.
- You hold qualifications to teach in a Canadian province or territory outside of Ontario.
- You hold qualifications to teach in the United States.
- You are currently a teacher candidate working toward a Bachelor of Education.
- You have worked as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian university or college.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss how the student is progressing.
- Provide academic support based on your expertise and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum.
- Create supplemental assignments that promote a greater understanding of the material.
- Deliver remedial support as well as enrichment.
