About the Role The Advising Center at UCBA is seeking an Academic Advisor to support students through proactive academic advising, degree planning, and successful progression toward graduation. The role includes managing a student caseload and ensuring degree audits and academic plans are accurate and aligned with program requirements, as well as orienting new students and supporting retention efforts. The position reports to leaders within the UCBA Advising Center and is based in Cincinnati with a hybrid work schedule (up to two remote days per week after the training period). What You'll Do
- Provide academic advising to facilitate students’ educational planning and timely degree completion in alignment with program requirements.
- Manage a student caseload and monitor degree audits and academic plans for accuracy and graduation readiness.
- Orient new students, participate in retention efforts, and collaborate with UCBA faculty and staff to maintain consistent academic program information.
- Report to leadership within the UCBA Advising Center and coordinate with campus partners as needed. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time staff, benefits-eligible position. The role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with up to two remote working days per week after the training period.
