About the Role The Academic Advisor I serves both graduate and undergraduate students in alignment with Regent University’s mission and the Academic Advising department. This role guides students from acceptance through graduation in a supportive, proactive, and professional manner. The position is based in Virginia Beach, VA, with capability for remote work during inclement weather. What You'll Do
- Provide academic advising, mentoring and support for all accepted and enrolled students.
- Provide preliminary and comprehensive academic advising regarding transfer credits, course selection, and course requirements to all prospective and active status students.
- Inform, review and process academic forms (e.g., academic petitions, online add/drop, readmission, withdrawal) in accordance to University policy and procedures and within KPI requirements.
