About this role
🚨💜 POV: YOU’RE GETTING PAID $22–$30/HR TO PLAY, MAKE A DIFFERENCE, AND USE YOUR ACTUAL HUMAN HEART. 💜🚨
📍 SOUTHBURY, CT — WE’RE HIRING!
🤖 If you’re looking for a job where you stare at a screen all day, ask ChatGPT to do your thinking, and have the emotional range of a toaster… this ain’t it. 😂
🧸 WE NEED REAL HUMANS WITH REAL HEARTS. The kind who can be silly, stay patient, celebrate the tiniest victories, and understand that sometimes a little progress is a BIG deal.
💜 SO… WHAT DOES A BEHAVIOR TECH ACTUALLY DO?
🎲 PLAY LIKE YOU MEAN IT. Games, toys, puzzles, and activities that make learning fun. Yes, playing can literally be part of your job. Your inner child just clocked in. 😂
🧠 TURN LITTLE MOMENTS INTO BIG SKILLS. Help children communicate, build independence, take turns, and navigate everyday life. No magic wand required. Just patience, consistency, and a willingness to learn.
🥳 CELEBRATE THE TINY WINS LIKE YOU JUST WON THE SUPER BOWL. A new skill? A brave attempt? A little breakthrough? WE’RE THROWING A PARADE. 🎉
📋 FOLLOW THE PLAN, NOT YOUR VIBES. You’ll work with BCBA guidance, follow individualized treatment plans, and collect data. Heart matters, but so do professionalism and evidence-based care!
💜 AND THE BEST PART? You might leave work knowing you helped make someone's world a little easier. No algorithm can replace genuine human connection.
