In This Role You'll: Paramount Tech is hiring a 403g Maintenance Technician responsible for maintenance and support of production and broadcast systems for the CBS Network and affiliated production units, providing critical 24x7 support for on-air and production infrastructure. This role covers hands-on troubleshooting and repair of routing systems, audio/video transport and IP media infrastructure (SDI and SMPTE 2110), production switchers, audio consoles, media file transfer and storage systems, video acquisition and playback servers, non-linear postproduction systems, production intercom, cameras, prompters, and other studio production systems, working to mitigate impact to production and on-air deadlines. This is a shift-based role covering rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-call/callback responsibilities per the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Basic Qualifications You Bring:
- 3+ years' experience working with professional television broadcast equipment, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component/system level under time pressure, in a live production environment.
