About the Role Paramount Tech is hiring a 403g Broadcast Maintenance Technician to support engineering maintenance and technical operations for the CBS Network and affiliated production units. This role offers essential around-the-clock support for broadcast systems that are on-air and in production. What You'll Do
- Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot complex technical systems used in on-air broadcasts and production.
- Provide essential around-the-clock support for broadcast systems; support the CBS Network and affiliated production units.
- Work with SDI and ST 2110 IP video routers, channel playout systems, high-speed Ethernet fabrics (25–200GbE), structured fiber optic cabling, media storage and transfer platforms, switchers, and satellite/terrestrial distribution systems.
- Support on-air graphics and internet/cloud streaming encoding systems. What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of engineering support and troubleshooting experience in broadcast environments.
- Experience in on-air playout in broadcast and/or streaming environments.
- Live broadcast control room operations experience, preferably in sports or live entertainment.
