Job title: 3rd Shift Production Worker
About the Role Volt is hiring for 3rd shift Production Workers in Buffalo Grove, IL to monitor automated equipment, ensure quality, and support manufacturing operations in a climate-controlled facility. This is a full-time, 12-hour rotating shift with weekly pay and potential temp-to-hire opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Monitor the operation of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
- Initiate adjustments to keep equipment within control limits.
- Wear PPE to maintain a sterile production environment.
- Lift, bend, reach, and move product up to 50 pounds.
- Visually inspect quality levels and adjust equipment when workmanship falls short.
- Initiate rework/repair on substandard product.
- Record data for SPC or inventory management.
- Troubleshoot automated equipment for production efficiency.
- Review production schedules, procedures, and specifications for startup and control.
- Perform sequential shutdown and cleaning of equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Able to stand for the full 12-hour shift and work rotating weekends.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.
- Effective communication with teammates, leads, and supervisors.
- Previous machine operating experience is a plus.
- Must meet pre-screening requirements (background screening, logic test, etc.).
- Within a 40-minute commute of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.00 - $19.80 per hour (USD).
