Job title: 3rd Shift Non-DOT Yard Driver
About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Yard Driver (Non-DOT) to move trailers and containers around the yard and operate yard equipment. You will help maintain safe, efficient yard operations and support loading/unloading processes at the Fort Worth location. The role is a third-shift position with competitive hourly pay and incentives.
What You'll Do
- Move trailers and containers around the yard in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate yard trucks, forklift, or other equipment to facilitate the movement of freight
- Perform routine inspections of trailers and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
- Load and unload trailers, verify product count
- Maintain a clean and safe docking area and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervision
- Refuel vehicles on site and document locations and condition of equipment
- Maintain proper records/logs as required by policies and procedures
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water; report issues
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor
- Ability to operate yard equipment such as yard trucks and forklifts
- Availability for 3rd shift (Friday-Sunday) and safety-focused mindset
