About the Role Danfoss is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Operator for Freeport, IL. This role involves setting up and operating machining equipment, and contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. What You'll Do

- Complies with all standard work procedures, control plans, processes, and quality guidelines.
- Responsible for setting up, operating, and dismantling unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations.
- Exhibits flexibility in approach and ideas, responds constructively, and supports changes in procedures, processes, technology, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Fits and assembles parts into complete assemblies, ensuring dimensions and alignment are accurately verified. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply logical reasoning and comprehension to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Physical requirements: regularly sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; regularly talk or hear.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Essential vision abilities: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Compensation & Benefits
- Wage range: $20.95 - $23.00 per hour, with a 10% shift premium.
