About the Role The 2nd Shift Team Lead - Fabrication is a working supervisor role on the fabrication/assembly team, responsible for driving quality production through supervision of a team and established processes. This role leads standard work, aims to improve processes, and supports achieving corporate goals through metrics. What You'll Do
- Be part of our Fabrication team as a working supervisor driving quality production through supervision of a team and established processes within the assembly team.
- Create, maintain, audit and improve standard work for your team. (Approx. 25%)
- Develop 5Alive metrics that feed into corporate goals. Communicate goals and progress, via daily huddle, to associates and working supervisor. (Approx. 15%)
- Train new employees, transfers, and perform cross training using training within industry methods (TWI). (Approx. 10%)
- Monitor and report all ECRs and serial number breaks.
