Job title: 2nd Shift NDT Operator (X-RAY, Level 1)
About the Role The 2nd shift NDT Operator (X-RAY, Level 1) is an on-site role at the Mentor, OH facility. This position supports quality inspection of castings during the 2nd shift to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
What You'll Do
- Perform X-ray non-destructive testing inspections as a Level 1 operator on assigned parts.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to production teams.
- Collaborate in a team-based problem-solving environment to address quality issues.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency, reliability, and accountability for quality and throughput.
- Adhere to the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift schedule and safety policies.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous casting experience is a plus.
- Personal characteristics: able to meet deadlines, strong attendance, dependable work history, team-oriented, and self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Nice to Have
- NDT Level 1 certification or experience.
- Additional casting background helpful.
