Job title: 2nd Shift - Further Processing Plant Dept. 152 – Production Worker
About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a Production Worker for the 2nd shift at the Further Processing Plant Dept. 152. You will assist in producing quality food products as part of a fully integrated operation that includes farms, hatcheries, feed mills, and processing plants. This is a safety-sensitive role where personnel may work in wet/humid conditions and must adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
What You'll Do
- Set-up/tear-down workstation and line as required
- Sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product
- Pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes; scale boxed product to required weight
- Label boxes as applicable to customer specifications; maintain a safe and sanitary work area
- Stand for long periods, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards; participate in a fast-paced production environment
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform production duties in a wet/humid environment with moving equipment and varying conditions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work 2nd shift in a production setting and comply with safety and quality standards
- Good teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
- No specific educational requirements stated; ability to follow instructions and operate packaging equipment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
- $1/hour night shift premium
- Pay increases at 30- and 90-days
