About the Role The Batter/Breader Operator on the 2nd shift supports the Further Process Plant by operating and setting up equipment for breaded product lines, ensuring correct breading/spice application and maintaining a sanitary, safe work environment. This role involves heavy lifting and working with production machinery to meet quality standards. What You'll Do
- Set up and tear down workstation and line as required
- Operate the breader/breading equipment and verify proper operation
- Adjust product flow and ensure the right combination of breading and spices
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and notify management as needed
- Keep the equipment clean and the work area sanitary
- Stand for long periods, walk, and reach with hands; regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Maintain awareness of safety and sanitation; this is a safety-sensitive position
- Be prepared to work in a wet/humid environment with moving parts, fumes, and extreme temperatures as described in the work conditions What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform duties as described; willingness to work 2nd shift (4:00 p.m. - EOS) and handle heavy lifting
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Ability to work in loud, wet/humid environments with moving mechanical parts and exposure to various conditions Nice to Have
- Experience operating breading/food processing equipment (not required) Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.50 per hour on the 2nd shift
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive and $1/hour night shift premium
- Pay increases at 30 and 90 days
