Job title: 2nd Shift - Cooler - Forklift Operator
About the Role Join Bachoco USA on the 2nd shift as a Cooler - Forklift Operator. This role supports production and warehouse operations by moving and loading product, operating a forklift/power-jack, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up/tear down workstation and line as required
- Operate a forklift or power-jack to move and load product
- Move pallets with a forklift or power-jack
- Load outgoing shipments and unload incoming shipments
- Complete paperwork and post totals to inventory records
- Count materials in stock and assist with inventory records
- Fill in for fellow employees as needed due to absences, vacations, or production needs
- Down stack products when needed and maintain clean warehouse floors
- Perform physical inventory of all materials in the warehouse
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work area; adhere to safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Forklift or power-jack operation experience is required
- Availability for 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to EOS
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands/arms and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at a pace to keep up with production capacity
- Willingness to perform inventory tasks and paperwork
- Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold; safety-conscious
Nice to Have
- Experience in food production or warehouse operations (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.50 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
- $1/hour night shift premium
