About the Role Join Caterpillar as a 2027 DHBW Student (m/w/d) in Elektrotechnik to combine theory and practice across electrical engineering. The program lasts three years (six semesters) plus a pre-internship in our training workshop. Start of practical experience begins in September and the dual study program starts in October. You will graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.). The theory phase takes place at the Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Mannheim, while the practice phase lets you apply what you learn in the company.
What You'll Do
- Participate in alternating theory and practice phases every three months, with the theory phase at DHBW Mannheim and the practice phase at Caterpillar.
- Apply mathematical, physical and electronics knowledge to practical engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with mentors, supervisors and university staff to progress toward the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.).

- Availability to start in 2027 and commit to a three-year program including a pre-internship.
