About the Role Green Dot is seeking 2026-27 High School Chemistry Teachers to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in a collaborative learning environment. Teachers will implement instruction rooted in Common Core State Standards, engage in data-driven planning, and participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives that support students’ college readiness and lifelong success. What You'll Do

- Engage in data-driven planning and assessment of student learning
- Establish a culture of respect and rapport with the students which supports the students’ emotional safety
- Facilitate rigorous learning by delivering cognitively engaging lessons that incorporate our instructional methodologies
- Engage in critical reflection, constantly revising practice to increase effectiveness
- Participate in a professional community across your school site and the Green Dot network
- Develop partnerships within the community by communicating with families and bringing to bear resources that support student success in college, leadership, and life What We're Looking For
- have a bachelor’s degree (required)
- have a growth mindset and love of learning
- have strong content knowledge, pedagogical understanding, and the capacity to plan and deliver instruction to meet the needs of students

- are passionate and demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility towards ambitious goals
- have excellent collaborative and organizational skills
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- have a strong ethical base and self-awareness
