About the Role The role supports Bachoco USA's warehouse operations in the Newlon Warehouse, assisting in production and logistics tasks to move, store, and ship product. This is a safety-sensitive position in a fast-paced production environment. What You'll Do
- Set up/tear down workstation as required
- Operate forklift or power-jack to move and load product and pallets
- Load outgoing shipments and unload incoming shipments
- Complete paperwork and maintain inventory records
- Count materials in stock and post totals to inventory records; perform physical inventory
- Fill in for fellow employees when needed due to absences or production needs
- Down stack products and maintain a clean, safe, sanitary work area
- Clean warehouse floors and help maintain an organized workspace
- Stand for extended periods; walk; reach with hands and arms; regularly lift up to 75 pounds What We're Looking For
- Experience with forklift operation and/or power-jack operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
- Ability to perform inventory counts and complete relevant paperwork
- Flexibility to fill in for others and support production needs
- Comfortable working in a loud environment and in conditions such as wet/humid, cold, or heat; exposure to moving parts and chemicals
- Strong safety focus and ability to follow procedures Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.50 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
- Pay increases at 30- and 90-days
