1st Shift Metal Fabricator

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

Job Duties:

• Programs and operates CNC punch, press brake, and other fabricating equipment to complete production runs
• Lays out sheet stock to minimize scrap and drop-offs for shearing operations
• Reads layout drawings, blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
• Inspect work using scales, squares, fixed gages, or templates to ensure conformance to drawings during in-process and final inspections
• Operate forklift to obtain and return sheet stock to storage racks

• Lathe
• Brake press
• Whitney
• Tube bender
• Turret
• Drill press
• Various saws

Job Qualifications:

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must have good basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and assembly functions.
• Able to understand blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
• Able to read wiring schematics.
• General Education Diploma

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
• Must be able to lift and bend etc. include requirements for particular position
• Must be able to sit/stand/lift etc. custom to this job for [up to 5 hours at a time]
