About the Role
The Production Worker supports Bachoco USA's Further Processing operations on the 1st shift, performing essential line duties to produce high-quality chicken products. This role emphasizes safe, efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.
What You'll Do
- Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
- Sort and grade product
- Make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes
- Tape boxes; scale boxed product to required weight
- Label boxes as applicable to customer specifications
- Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner
- Stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands/arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Follow safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive position
- Work in environments that may be wet/humid, with moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme cold
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach as required; comfortable working in a loud environment
- Regularly lift/move up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in wet or cold conditions with exposure to moving machinery, fumes/airborne particles, and chemicals
- Safety-conscious and able to follow established procedures
- Willingness to participate in facility processes and team-based tasks
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive
- Pay increases at 30- & 90-days
