Job title: 1st Shift - Feed Haul Driver
About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a 1st Shift Feed Haul Driver to deliver feed from the feed mill to broiler and breeder farms. This hands-on role supports our fully integrated operations and requires safe driving, accurate logging, and adherence to DOT regulations.
What You'll Do
- Drive a truck to transport chicken feed from the feed mill to the broiler and breeder farms.
- Pick up tickets from the dispatcher and load the feed into the trailer.
- Weigh the feed and operate the hydraulic system to unload into farm bins.
- Maintain truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water).
- Ensure compliance with DOT and state driver training and documentation requirements.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED and one year of experience.
- Class-A CDL license; no major driving violations; ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; basic math skills.
- Strong safety focus, dependability, and the ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork; ability to work with dispatch and farm personnel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $21.00 per hour.
- Shift hours: 5:00 am – 5:00 pm.
