Job title: 1099 Window and Door Installer
About the Role Renewal by Anderson is seeking 1099 Window and Door Installers in the St. Louis area. This contract role is for self-motivated independent contractors who will perform installation tasks with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality work.
What You'll Do
- Complete assigned installation tasks with minimal supervision.
- Work with provided materials and the nightly staging process to ensure quick in-and-out load/unload each morning.
- Use job-site trailers or enclosed trailers and provided tools to perform installations.
- Collaborate with the Installer Council, General, Operations, and Installation Managers, and Warehouse Support to ensure success.
What We're Looking For
- Self-motivated, independent contractor with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must provide General Liability, Workers' Comp, and Auto Insurance.
- EPA Lead Safe certification (if not certified yet, Renewal by Andersen will schedule you for certification).
- Background checks required for all team members working on a site.
- Access to a job-site trailer and tools; enclosed trailer preferred.
- 1099 contractor status.
Nice to Have
- Experience installing windows and doors; ability to work with premium materials is helpful.
Compensation & Benefits
- 20% increase on weekend rates.
- All materials needed for the job are provided; jobs staged the night before for quick in and out, with strong support from managers and warehouse staff.
