About this role
Section: Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities and technical teams
- Oversee vehicle and trailer maintenance, servicing and repairs
- Assign tasks and monitor technicians and mechanics
- Ensure vehicles and trailers remain safe and roadworthy
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules
- Monitor tools, equipment, spare parts and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures
Section: Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years’ experience in workshop supervision or leadership
- Proven experience working with vehicles and trailers
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to supervise technicians and manage multiple workshop activities
- Technical qualification in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is an advantage
