Wastewater Operator III
SUMMARY
This work involves the performing of a variety of routine tasksin, and around, an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility and collection system. Work is performed following clearly prescribed standard operating procedures and readily understood department rules and procedures. Operator Ill works under the direct supervision of the Water Pollution Control Foreman or other designated supervisors. Completes all related work as required. This position requires on-call, on a rotating on-callschedule, for in plant and off plant emergencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs sewer linemaintenance including jetting, vacuuming, TV inspections etc.
- Performs housekeeping tasks at the treatment plant and pump stationsincluding sweeping, mopping, washing, dusting, painting, etc.
