Underwriting Assistant
The Underwriting Assistant shall be responsible for analysing, assessing and underwriting Group Life risks presented to the Company through proposals, declarations, renewals and amendments, in accordance with the Company’s approved underwriting guidelines, pricing parameters, reinsurance arrangements and delegated authority limits.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess new and renewal Group Life risks based on member data, benefits, occupation, claims experience and other risk factors.
- Prepare and review quotations, applying approved rates, underwriting guidelines and delegated authority limits.
- Determine appropriate underwriting terms, including rates, loadings, exclusions, benefit limits and special conditions.
- Assess medical evidence for members exceeding the Free Cover Limit and communicate underwriting decisions.
