About this role
Job Summary
TechTutors serve as consultants to students who are interested in improving their knowledge of software and tools such as the Office, Google, and Adobe suites, Canva, and Qualtrics. Other course related software may also be supported. You will use and develop skills in productivity, media and graphics applications, as well as building excellent customer service skills. TechTutors may also have opportunities to work on projects, lead workshops, or explore new technologies. Consultants will be expected to have basic knowledge of a variety of software and be willing to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Provide tutorial assistance to students.
- Encourage student participation in tutoring.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and participation.
- Refer students to other avenues of support.
- Participate in Tutorial Services orientation and meetings.
