This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation logistics to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods and materials. This role involves scheduling shipments, working with carriers and vendors, monitoring transportation performance, and resolving any issues that arise during transit.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickup and delivery of goods.
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on expected delivery times.
