Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. These are full-time, 9-month positions with salary commensurate with qualifications.
The successful candidates will join a department with active research programs in pharmacology, neuroscience, vaccine development, infectious disease, and molecular and cell biology. These individuals will be expected to establish a dynamic, extramurally-funded research program within these or a complementary field pertinent to human and/or animal health. The successful candidates will also teach pharmacology to professional and/or graduate students.
