Technical Lead Operator
Operate and oversee the operation of recycling machinery, such as balers, shredders, conveyors, and sorting equipment. Monitor equipment performance and intervene promptly in case of malfunctions or breakdowns. Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality recycled materials. Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products for conformity to standards. Collaborate with quality control personnel to address any issues and improve processes. Supervise but also if schedule allows, do regular preventative maintenance of the machinery Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions while coordinating repairs as needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Enforce and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
