Is a member of the entity's Management team where the role is expected to drive overall performance issues in the area of financial result, capital efficiency and governance. In the line function the role leads, develops and manages the entity's or corporate's financial function including e.g. general accounting and reporting, cost management, cash management and controlling. Areas of responsibility with reporting subordinates may also include business services, IT, procurement and other. This is one of the senior finance management positions and is governed by policies and frameworks established by the larger corporation.
