Sybase Migration Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Lead current-state assessment and discovery activities for the Sybase environment.
- Analyze databases, ETL processes, applications, integrations, and data dependencies.
- Define migration strategy, target-state architecture, and implementation roadmap.
- Drive execution of migration activities, including database conversion, ETL remediation, data validation, and cutover planning.
- Provide technical leadership across assessment, design, migration, and post-migration stabilization phases
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Sybase, including database structures, stored procedures, schemas, data models, and dependency analysis.
- Proven experience leading and executing database migration initiatives, particularly migrations from Sybase to SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
