SWD Technician
The Saltwater Disposal (SWD) Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of saltwater disposal facilities and associated equipment.
What you will do Monitor and operate saltwater disposal wells, pumps, tanks, meters, and related equipment. Conduct regular inspections of SWD facilities, pipelines, and injection systems. Record and report daily operational data including volumes, pressures, temperatures, and flow rates. Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and mechanical systems. Monitor injection pressures and rates to ensure regulatory compliance. Respond to equipment failures, spills, leaks, and other operational issues. Coordinate water truck unloading and verify disposal volumes. Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and safety records.
