About the position
The Subsea Controls Engineer is part of the Subsea team within Chevron ENGINE. The Subsea Controls Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support for the long-term management of subsea controls system equipment (including manifolds, trees, instrumentation, flowmeters, SCMs, subsea chokes, HPUs, EPUs, CDUs, communications, and distribution systems) for subsea production systems. Primary focus areas are electro/hydraulic controls, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, rate control, etc.), automation, project management, local and international contractor’s management, hazard evaluation, reliability assessment, system performance monitoring, maintaining regulatory compliance, and minimizing potential operating downtime.
