About the Role The Stationary Engineer will perform preventative maintenance, urgent, corrective, and routine repairs across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems at Swedish Hospital. This role supports reliability of power generation, plumbing, and building systems to ensure safe patient care environments. What You'll Do
- Perform requisitioned, corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of electrical distribution.
- Read blueprints, interpret instructions and repair specifications; document inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose system malfunctions using mechanical and electrical theory and hands-on experience.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance according to procedures, including inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, lubricating, repairing or replacing components.
- Monitor work by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and documented.
