Job Description
- The State-Based Program Officer (SBPO) leads Extension Africa's donor-funded development work in Gombe State turning work plans into field activity, training farmers and extension agents, driving adoption of climate-smart and digital extension practices, and maintaining data quality and reporting against the project's results framework.
- The role also links development to commerce: the SBPO builds and certifies the last-mile rural structure (FBAs, farmers, and vendors) for verified handover to the Commercial Arm's State Sales Team via the Agent Processing Centre (APC). Residency within Gombe State is compulsory.
